Its Halloween!

Happy Halloween! 

Hey Everyone! 

I hope you all had a good week! I love heading into town early in the mornings for a coffee and a walk about so thats what I did this morning :) I had the day off and I love how quite the city can be on the weekend mornings. I am loving all the Autumn Colours every where you look especially when the sun is shining. 

My outfit was very much uniform: Leather, Stripes and Denim! My boots however are my Autumn Gems. I purchased them a few years ago and still love them! Once the Autumn winter sets, they are my go to boots every day! Their shade just compliment the gorgeous surroundings and surprising match so much in my wardrobe! 

Each year when winter is over I box away any boots or shoes that are too dark for summer or heavy etc. Once Autumn comes the following year its like receiving a brand new selection of shoes! It great to box away or hide any seasonal pieces and rotate as the seasons change. 

I am off for a weekend of relaxing! I hope you all have a lovely Halloween!

A quick trip to Avoca!

I always love a trip to Avoca even if it's only a quick stop! Thursday's call for a treat so I headed to their Food Market for some Coffee and Cake. It was so worth the slight detour! The weather is still a bit all over the place and so is my wardrobe, I don't know what to wear each day! I kept things casual mixing with some greens and blues. I love the colour of these converse, they are a great shade for Autumn and not too dark or winter-like for this time of year. The powder blue top works really well with emerald mohair wool and denim, The light blue shade makes a great Autumn Colour alternative and gives my outfit a bit of unpredicted brightness without being too summer like!

Today I am taking look at Sweaters and thankfully there are some beauties out there to make this weather transition that bit easier. We all have a million sweaters but it's texture, usual cuts or an oversized fit that can make this every day staple give you some quick and easy style credentials.

STYLE TIP // Mix and Match with textures, Wool sweaters can compliment some our favourite fabrics such as leather, suede, denim and silk

STYLE TIP // When Layering a blazer or coat over a chunky knit opt for a sleeveless piece layered over a shirt to avoid adding unwanted bulk.

STYLE TIP // If you go for an oversized style sweater remember to balance out your outfit with a tighter bottom option.
