Travel: An afternoon in Dublin

Dublin's Fair City!

Travel // Location: Dublin Castle

 Hey Girls!

I took advantage of the sunshine last the week and headed into town for the day. After a lovely morning coffee sitting out in the sun at Kaph on Dury Street (one of the best places to get a great coffee by the way!),  I decided to take a stroll up to Dublin Castle and City Hall.

Having lived in Dublin all my life I am ashamed to say these are two of many attractions right on my door step that I have never seen inside or experienced! Both Dublin Castle and City Hall are minutes from Grafton Street and free of charge to visit! It's great to take advantage of what our beautiful city has to offer instead of hitting the usual shops and coffee shops!

Dublin Castle has an exhibition running until June in the Coach House called Hidden Heroes, The Genius of everyday things. Spread over two large rooms you will see some of your favourite everyday esstenitals including Post-It's, LightBulbs, Bubble wrap, Lego and much more displayed fantastically. It's really worth a visit for something different to do!

City Hall was so beautiful I took so many photo's! So I will do a separate blog post on that for you all! Here are some of my favourite bits from the day!
